Cost and timing
UAE attestation fee and service change log
Short answer
This log records changes only when a current primary source confirms them. The 28 August 2026 baseline is AED 150 per personal or educational document, AED 2,000 per commercial document and AED 3 plus 2% per transaction. It also records the expansion of combined and digital mission routes. Absence from this log is not proof that a fee has never changed.

28 August 2026 — baseline established
- MoFAIC personal and educational documents: AED 150 per document.
- MoFAIC commercial documents: AED 2,000 per document.
- Transaction charge: AED 3 plus 2 per cent.
- Certificate and transcript remain separate documents for MoFAIC charging.
- MoFAIC has no Customer Happiness Centres; service uses digital channels and assigned courier routes.
- Eligible UAE digital birth, death, police and education documents can be routed through Digital Attestation when the application recognises the issuing authority and document type.
28 August 2026 — Bangladesh combined route confirmed
The UAE Embassy Dhaka publishes “one service, two attestations”: one application covers the UAE mission and MoFAIC, with most requests completed in 2–3 business days. Older pages describing two separate UAE applications are stale for this mission.
23 August 2026 — combined mission set documented
The verified research baseline identified combined embassy-and-MoFAIC routes in India, Pakistan, Egypt and the United Kingdom, with mission-specific timing and collection rules. Mission pages remain the authority because availability is not universal.
How corrections are handled
When two government pages conflict, this log records the conflict rather than choosing the more convenient number. A line is corrected with a new dated note and the previous wording remains visible enough to explain what changed.
